Most commercial labels cant fancy about their background as Monotonik can do.
They’ve been rockin’ since 1996 when, as the netlabel demo scene started, they were delivering mod files for Commodore Amiga. This was happening when the internet was crawling like a baby and when things were more underground in a romantic way.
The rest: 193 releases, including artists such as Lackluster (DeFocus/Merck), Bogdan Raczynski (Rephlex), Sense (Neo-Ouija), Tim Koch (Surgery/DeFocus), BrothomStates (Warp), Proem (Merck/Hydrant), Fun Tourist (Worm Interface/Sony Finland), Vim! (Surgery/Oggum), etc, being featured on Spin magazine, having sountracked a Sony Playstation game, and millions of downloaded tracks…Im proud to feature this guys in this second episode with a special Monotonik’s Magic Mix done by Chris Whaley who already did the Monotonik 10 year mix. The mix is a headspinning collection of stunning tunes. All my love and respect for your work!!!
